Howey's macaroons. Never know about this before. Around a month ago, my friend bought me one box of macaroons from Howey. Howey is located in Medan, Indonesia. Howey was opened by the young chef, since he was 20 years old. Howey serves wide selection of petit gateaux, handcrafted macaroons, chocolates, other patisseries, both sweet and savoury.

I have not been to their store before, but as i saw on the social media, seems like the store is designed like French classy cafe. You should try to visit Howey once you are in Medan.

Luckily, i got a chance to try it. Since these few months, i always been craving for macaroons, and i don't know why :D

Seems like, macaroons are the best ! i like sweets !

By the way, thanks to my friend who specially bought me one dozen of macaroons from Howey.

I like their colors, the taste also good.

So far, i like the one that got blueberry inside. Soooo yummy!

Belle et Petite 

my curiosity towards macaroons, freshly baked from the store named Belle et Petite. I have been known this online shop for a while. I knew them first time was through Instagram account. Then, day by day, time to time, I saw that numbers of the people who connect with me in Instagram getting more and more who tried Belle et Petite's macaroons. Few times i had my holiday to Jakarta, but i did not have a chance to buy their macaroons. The photos on their Instagram always good and appealing. Just few months ago, they opened the first store in Pacific Place Mall.

They will change the flavor of the week every week. But if you order a lot, they might give another service, means you can order online with the flavor you have requested, but with the condition, you order not only 1-2 boxes. Though, you better check with them first and make sure.  So finally, few weeks ago, i have a chance to tried the macaroons ! which i have been craved for so long. I got the flavors of the week because i ordered it online. I got, Nutella, Red Velvet, Coca Cola, and Peanut Butter. Here are the photos of my macaroons! B e t j e m a n & B a r t o n

Betjeman & Barton has been known as a brand of tea since a long time ago. Well, i never knew that. I just saw the website and getting to know about them more. once i hear about this brand from my friend. she posted a picture of macaroons there. and, because i was craving for macaroons, i am curious to try their macaroons too. so i asked my friends, to accompany me there, since they also desserts' lovers. when we were at One Utama, we tried to find this place, from shopping directory but it was kinda hard to find the way. for like 20 mins we walked here and there and finally found Betjeman and Barton. will explain bit more about Betjeman and Barton in One Utama with the photos.

what i was looking for from here was macaroons actually, but there you go, i found some other cakes too. feel like wanna grab it all.

3 salted caramel macaroons, 1 hazelnut macaroon, 1 dark choc macaroon and 1 black sesame macaroon

perfect!

my friend tried this choc cake too. it was nice!

craving satisfied !  

i like the colors of the macaroon, baby pink and baby blue :)

the taste was delicious. price was okay, standard for macaroons.

the ambience quite nice, unfortunately i did not try the tea, we all quite full already. some more, we would try another place afterwards, we only ate desserts.

i like the macaroons a lot :D one of the macaroons which worth to try.

T H E L I V I N G R O O M

hello ! i can't wait to share about this buffet, freshly from the camera taken this afternoon. so yeah, after few months being stress with dissertation, so me and my friends decided to have a feast to celebrate our freedom. haha. we saw this offer from Groupon. we can got RM56 for buffet in Westin. not bad huh? and we have booked it for today. so we have our lunch there just now. such a nice place. the buffet restaurant named Living Room, well i did not know why they give this kind of name, but they are located in the center of the UG floor, near the lobby and yup, there are some chairs and tables for guest to seat that provide a good view which is the picture below. we just need to look up from where we seat, and it is such a beautiful decoration upstairs.

 below is the picture of some chairs and tables in the middle of the living room. unfortunately i did not get that seats. but it is okay, my place was near to the bar, so we can order drinks easily.

pictures below will show you the food, from salad, meat carving, breads, desserts, and many more. there are some foods were not taken. the lettuce was very fresh, good quality!

there are some kind of breads, and these just a few samples, and also the cheese. there are some types of cheese

meat carving area. got chicken and lamb, i did not try the lamb because i did not like lamb, so i just take the chicken, perfectly roasted! 

we come to desserts.

this is cheesecake, so delicious! you have to try this if you have a chance to try their buffet

kuih Nyonya, and some cookies. i like those two kuih on the right, and the cookies all are so delicious.

last part was ice cream, you can take by yourself, and give some toppings. 

for me, most of the dishes were very good, they cooked very well, very delicious, and good taste as well. so sorry that are some foods i did not take the pictures. they variety of choices also quite a lot. one thing you should know, they have 4 different type of buffet menu, so, this menu what i got. thankful that it was excellent. maybe you should try, the ambience also very good.

The Equalizer

so many new movies coming up on cinema. so excited !

i love to watch movie in cinema though.

maybe around once a week i will get at least one movie. 

so you can guess how i love to watch movie. 

and yup, this film named the equalizer just coming up since 25 september 2014 in cinema.

though because of my dissertation, thus i have not watch so many movies, just start from this week i can enjoy myself back to normal, since i have submitted my dissertation. Yeay!

by seeing the trailer of the equalizer, heard from friends that have watched this movie, i really want to watch also. I think this movie is gonna be so interesting, fun, and awesome. because not only the storyline that is a cool action story, whereby McCall who will be the person that stands for justice, he will helps people and save the people from the crimes. but also, these actor and actress, Denzel Washington as McCall and Chloe Grace Moretz as Teri, these two famous people will make the film gonna be awesome. and i can not wait to watch the movie soon.

in this post i want to blog about, the event from Butterfly Project.

last time, i joined them on watching How to Train your Dragon 2 together in TGV 1 Utama, with some other butterflies.

well, i have not become a famous blogger, since i have just started at the beginning of this year, but Butterfly Project has been helped me to know a lot of things in blog's world, so many events has been created for all the bloggers, not just to review the products and so on but also to get more friends which has same interesting as you.
