Cafe Studio

let me introduce you the new cafe nearby Encorp Strand Mall in Kota Damansara. well, i can say that i am also quite new with that area. i came to that area before when i visited Wood and Steel Cafe, well, i never knew that area before. than, after i knew that there is one mall called Encorp Strand Mall, and there is TGV Cinemas open there, so i was quite excited to try their TGV Cinemas, after few times come and go to that area, last night i was searching some places that comfortable to study and chill at the same time, and not so far from my place which i never been there before. and i found this cafe called Cafe Studio. so today, i ask my friend to study together at Cafe Studio. i searched it first before i go, i am afraid it is not as my expectation. once i enter this cafe, my first impression was "wow!" i really like their interior design, the ambience, the decoration, the furniture, they provide the furniture for those just want to hang out and have some coffee and tea, they also provide table and chair for those who want to study like me and friends, all is well-arranged, and very nice. take a look of my photos.

i like the art at the side there. it is awesome!

all of us ordered tea. free refill. i choose the Green Tea and Apple tea by Twinings.

i did not try their food, but seems nice, i saw many people come at dinner time to have their dinner there. i think next time i will try the food and the cake as well :D i will come back for sure. it is not too crowded, i can study, and relax as well. the service was really good. the waiter and waitress really have a good attitude in welcoming and serving the guest.

i just spend Rm7.15 for the tea! so happy :)

Coffee Etc

Another review for coffee shop. Coffee Etc located at Oasis Ara Damansara, i will show you the map and the complete address later. So, me and my friends going for dinner at Bad Boy Cooks Real Food on that day, and we chilled out at Coffee Etc. Well, my first impression was 'is this bar? or coffee shop?' because in front of the door they showed about beer promotions. I am not that fancy though to beer. so i thought, i might went to a wrong place, but since i have asked my friends to chilled out, so we went inside, it did not hurt if i give another try of this place. Maybe my impression was not right.

i like their interior. cozy, relax, calm and cool. they have outside and inside.
they have a live performance as well, but i am not sure whether it happens everyday or only weekend. we request 2-3 songs that day, to be played by the singer in live performance, but so sad, they did not sing our song :((

left : it was the first place we have a seat, but for half and hour to one hour we can not stand, it was kinda hot and got some mosquitoes bite. so, we decided to change our place.

right : we got number 9! haha

i just love this table. on the middle of the room, with the lights focus only for this table. it is just nice. 

tadaaa! this was what we ordered on that day, because it was kinda late, so we decided to order hot chocolate. 3 hot chocolates!
the packaging was a bit with different coffee shop, and it was good idea though. if we are in rush, we can immediately take it away rather than using glass, and we call the server to change the glass to take-away glass, it will takes time.

Johnny Rockets at Avenue K

I am quite fancy with western food. I heard about Johnny Rockets, at first i have no idea what thery are selling and so on. Honestly, first time heard about this name also not so curious what is about and dont know when im going to try the food there.
After a while, since Johnny Rockets has open their branch in Curve Damansara, i passed by and i take a look for a moment. After observed the place and the menu, now i know what Johnny Rockets about.
Then, immediately, it is inside one of the list place to go sooner or later.
On Labour Day, i went to KL, since i go there once in a while, so i take this chance and use it wisely. Choose a place i want to go the most.
and i take this place as my last meal before i went back home.

The ambience really nice, you will feel like you are in US now. haha.

during my meal, suddenly music comes up and the staff dance in front of the guests. so fun, cool and the ambience feel so lively.
they really friendly. and not so bad in dance as well.

Hot dog and burger. In the menu, all already comes with salad and fries. Good right?

Banana Milkshake. Not so bad. But not really good as well. You can have a try if you curious enough the taste. :)

Overall : 9/10
Price : Standards, 20-25RM (not including the drinks)
Ambience : very nice
Staff : friendly
Food quality : 8/10
