Elixcir Gelato 

finally. i'm back. i just had my semester holiday for few weeks. well it's almost one month.
i went back to my hometown. my hometown is Jakarta.
so, for next few posts i will post about some places i visited during my holiday in Jakarta.
the first will be this gelato. i have been craving to try this ice cream, called Elixcir Gelato.
the further location will be mentioned later. this is nitrogen ice cream. now nitrogen ice cream is in the way up on the current trend. there are few stalls selling this kind of ice cream, but has not been as many as cafes nowadays. but still, this few places, seems has a good prospect for current and future, since there has not been many competitors, and kinda unique. people in all ages still love sweets, and they able to eat ice cream to satisfy the craving right? :D for example me. who could resist this ice cream. have a look !

the place to sit was not really big though, if you want to sit to chill and have a long chit chat, i did not really suggest this, but you can take it away, and eat it while you are shopping or have a walk around shopping malls. that will be great.

see, how tempting it is ! i could not resist this ice cream. big portion, even i have to share this with my friend to finish all. i could not remember the exact name of this menu. the price if i am not mistaken was Rp50.000,- to Rp60.000,- in Ringgit is around RM13.5-RM17.5 , i think i got nutella in the mixture as well. it was sooooooooo delicious.

GRUMPY CYCLIST

on that time, i did not know where to go, i just need to find a place to study with a comfort table and chair. then 3 of us just went around one utama there, and my bf came up with with this name "Grumpy Cyclist" so, we decided to went there, since me and my friend never been there before. 

imagine there were some bicycles inside the coffee shop? it was so unique. i never thought it would be like this. never been any cafe that i visited have concept like this. 

luckily, that time, not so many people there, so i could study really well. the ambience was so good.

we ordered one tea and one coffee. the taste was good, not so bad :D

get a try ! somemore the price was not so expensive. it was on average most of the cafes.

you can get TWG tea for less than RM15. ! GO get a try!

Cafe Studio

let me introduce you the new cafe nearby Encorp Strand Mall in Kota Damansara. well, i can say that i am also quite new with that area. i came to that area before when i visited Wood and Steel Cafe, well, i never knew that area before. than, after i knew that there is one mall called Encorp Strand Mall, and there is TGV Cinemas open there, so i was quite excited to try their TGV Cinemas, after few times come and go to that area, last night i was searching some places that comfortable to study and chill at the same time, and not so far from my place which i never been there before. and i found this cafe called Cafe Studio. so today, i ask my friend to study together at Cafe Studio. i searched it first before i go, i am afraid it is not as my expectation. once i enter this cafe, my first impression was "wow!" i really like their interior design, the ambience, the decoration, the furniture, they provide the furniture for those just want to hang out and have some coffee and tea, they also provide table and chair for those who want to study like me and friends, all is well-arranged, and very nice. take a look of my photos.

all of us ordered tea. free refill. i choose the Green Tea and Apple tea by Twinings.

i did not try their food, but seems nice, i saw many people come at dinner time to have their dinner there. i think next time i will try the food and the cake as well :D i will come back for sure. it is not too crowded, i can study, and relax as well. the service was really good. the waiter and waitress really have a good attitude in welcoming and serving the guest.

i just spend Rm7.15 for the tea! so happy :)

A Day Trip to Ipoh Part 2

A Taste of the Good life After ate so many foods, we decided to find another attractions. we went to wall mural art.took pictures there. i like the mural art there, i never saw mural like this.  if you want to go there. you really need to find it patiently, because when you search with GPS, it is not as easy as you think. in GPS said, it was already in the location, but we could not find it, so we took another round. then, i also did not how, but we could find it, it was at the back of some buildings. if you can not find it, maybe you just walk, it might be easier. it was near Jalan Datuk Onn Jaafar actually before we went to mural, we wanted to have some dim sum first, but then, at that time around 6 pm, they have not opened yet, so we went to mural first then come back again. here are the photos of the food we ate. all are super nice! i like dimsum, the taste was good. i think it is cheaper than the first one i ate in KL. i am not so sure whether they open in the morning or not, but if you want to have as a dinner, better you come after 6.30pm to make sure they already open. RM53.5 in total Yoke Fook Moon Dim Sum 67-69, Jalan Leong Sin Nam 30300, Ipoh Woolley Food Court  this was the place where we had our dinner. it was a big food court, sell soooooo many things, i missed their rojak already, the first picture on the left there, it was super nice. i like their rojak so much, i can not find it in KL :( it was RM5 for small one. then 3 of my friends bought yong tau foo, if i am not mistaken, for each was RM0.80 so since my friend chose 4 foods, so RM3.2 so cheap! but the soup was tasteless. if i remember correctly there were two type of soup, they chose the same one. then me and boyfriend bought popiah to tried. since we like popiah as well. it was also super cheap. usually we bought is two times then this, this was only RM3 or RM3 something but didn't reach RM4, for one. we bought 2. the taste was good. Address :  48-50 Lengkok Canning Menglembu, Perak this was the last destination of our trip. we visited Kinta Riverfront Walk. it was like i-city. it was better at the night because you will see all those lights, not so many things you can enjoy there, basically you just see these lights, take pictures, and have some walk there on the right side or left side, there were 2 bridges as well to connecet right and left side. this is free charge.
