the tendency to not start anything until you have a cup of coffee.

Like that quote saying, indeed, i need coffee before start everything. Coffee to start my engine. LOL. No, I am kidding. I am used to be like that. Everyday I need a cup of coffee. But not anymore due to serious gastric. Oh well, pity me. (Okay, it is not the point of my blog) I just wanna share my story. 

I heard this coffee shop quite some time. But again, I never had a chance to visit them before. Feels like the distance is so far from my house. Though it is not that far actually. But the traffic jam in Jakarta make it so so far away.  I went to this coffee shop at the same day as I visit Ruang Seduh. Because their location is just within 10-15mins drive. So why i wasted more time if i need to come the other day, while I have already near the area. 

     Another concept of coffee shop around South Jakarta, it's a cozy, warm, and  

     quiet place to chill. The outside seating area is furnished with old vintage chairs 

     and tables, with the perfect natural lighting that helps you to take 

     instagramable pictures look even cooler without editing. Otherwise, inside seating 

     area was not too big, but once you enter, it feels like home, decorated with 

     plants, dimmed light, wood furnitures, and there are some books to read. 

     If only during my visit, it was not that packed. I could sit there for longer 

     time. Yet, no space for me to sit, and enjoy my coffee. Even the restaurant that 

     adjoining with them, is full house, I think they got some events, during my visit. 

     So ya, what could be better than take away cup for the way out. 

     Ordered my Ice Americano to go, because it was so damn hot weather. I could  

     melt right away. Drinks price range is IDR25.000 to IDR45.000.

     They served some pastries if you would like to pair up your coffee with 

     something to bite. Or else, you can order something from SNCTRY Health Bar. 

     Overall the coffee was not so astounding, but it was decent and satisfying. 

     I love their glassware too, if only I can have dine in. They use some kind of    

     ceramic cup, which is going to add on the warmth feeling and homey feeling.

     Find somewhere cozy place to sit and enjoy coffee, here is one of them.

One fine Saturday, I was going out with one friend. We decided to ate lunch in Subang area. Just for a quick lunch, but of course we didn't take fast food. :D after that, we decided to go to a cafe, so that we can sit and talk. More comfortable to chit chat.

Then after did some research through the apps, firstly I wanted to go OUG. but not much choices.. Then she told me that Sri Petaling lately also got a lot of new cafes just opened. Then i gave her the choices. And because she likes waffles (she told me that), super like it. She knew that Soft Launch also quite popular with their waffles. Then we went and try lor..

That day, cafe was quite packed. Because of weekend most probably.
We ordered one affogato (RM15) Softserve and 2 shots of espresso. 2 shots is enough. I dont really like the coffee too sweet. so with 2 shots, and blended with the softserve, the taste became awesome! in the hot weather, and you can have ice cream and coffee. ✔✔

Then ordered one Mango Waffle (RM19). contained of Crispy yeasted waffle, Mangoes, Cream and Maple Syrup on side. So if you don't want to sweet you don't need to pour maple syrup. I don't really fancy with Cream, think that if it was Ice Cream would be better. But overall was good. Think of the waffle's cals make me think twice. I ate quarter at the end, she ate three quarter ✌✌ But she really like waffles. So it's okay. We almost order two waffles, luckily not. And she ordered Hot Latte (RM10).

Everytime I visit Cafes. I always like to observe their ambience and service. Cause it is one of the reason to come back. Staffs were good and helpful. Serve with smile. Point plus! Even we asked to put table and chairs for us in a place that actually they don't have it. (sorry to make you guys troublesome, but you guys awesome!). Waffles served a bit long. Maybe bcs many people (?). And i think can be crunchier. We chit chat quite some times. Means the place is nice to chill.

They have special Pokemon menu. I didn't order. But if you interest in it, you can have a try. I just don't really fancy with too sweet-drinks. Definitely will come back and try another waffles 😁

Uptown Damansara has been developed quite a lot. More foods and cafes to hang out. Lots of new places come up at the same time. Until i feel confuse which one to go first.

After take one big round at that day, to hang out. I decided to go for Frisson Coffee Bar. From some posts that i have seen, this place is interesting, appealing and attractive. from the name itself, their coffee and desserts, and also the place.

It was not hard at all to find this cafe, because you can see from the big road. Same row with Softsrve, Good Batch etc. I think you will be familiar with those places.

And since we went there on weekday, so it was not hard to find a table. I came to visit not for their set lunch though. Purposely came and tried their coffee, and desserts. Friendly waiters and waitresses made me and my friends feel welcomed.

I liked most of their ideas on decorating the cafe.

Simple thing can be so meaningful.

Ice Peppermint Chocolate

A shot of espresso since i asked for my latte only for one shot, so they gave me another shot in case i would like to have more coffee.

One of the waffle's desserts:

Waffle + One scoop of ice cream + 2 Toppings

we chose Oreo Crumb and Marshmallow

RM14.90

Overall, the drinks was good. But the waffles not really. First, maybe because we chose the 'dry' toppings that made it not taste as delicious as the expectation. Second, the waffle really thin and not crunchy.

Matchafuku

do you like Green Tea ? do you like Ice Cream desserts ?

If yes, definitely this is the right place for you to come and try their desserts.

Well this is my second time visit their store. Matchafuku located in West Jakarta. The exact area named Citra Garden 6. 

Those area are currently developing. More and more restaurants and cafes coming in. 

First time i went to Matchafuku, i remembered inside the menu almost every sweet things made from green tea, and some others savoury dishes like chicken popcorn, etc.

But when i visited for the second time, the menu changed already. No more savoury dishes.

All are sweet things especially ice cream.

Yet, now they added more flavour of ice cream not only green tea.

I would like to say that the taste of their green tea was nice. 

The place not so big, so yeah, better you come on weekdays. 

They made the desserts looks appealing with those colourful toppings served together with the ice cream.

1. Boo Ya! IDR 39.000,-

- Strawberry

- POP rocks (at right side)

- Injection of Strawberry syrup

* this one also allows you to choose the flavour of ice cream.

I like Matcha Ogura the most!

it was my third time having my meal there. Yet, i never once make any review about it before. so, here i am writing about this place. before i tried this place, i have already heard about this, but i did not know where is it. i just knew that it was quite far from my place. first time trying, i was quite shocked i never thought the price is not that expensive. for one meal, i still got less than RM10, and i was so happy to know that. thus, i asked my friends to try this as well, as we wanted to gather together, refreshed our mind after all the assignments, chit chat, and so on.

i am not fancy with mushrooms. but this is good! i like the combination. and the bread is super nice! crunchy and delicious. not like ordinary bread for hot dog.
