Like that quote saying, indeed, i need coffee before start everything. Coffee to start my engine. LOL. No, I am kidding. I am used to be like that. Everyday I need a cup of coffee. But not anymore due to serious gastric. Oh well, pity me. (Okay, it is not the point of my blog) I just wanna share my story. 

I heard this coffee shop quite some time. But again, I never had a chance to visit them before. Feels like the distance is so far from my house. Though it is not that far actually. But the traffic jam in Jakarta make it so so far away.  I went to this coffee shop at the same day as I visit Ruang Seduh. Because their location is just within 10-15mins drive. So why i wasted more time if i need to come the other day, while I have already near the area. 

     Another concept of coffee shop around South Jakarta, it's a cozy, warm, and  

     quiet place to chill. The outside seating area is furnished with old vintage chairs 

     and tables, with the perfect natural lighting that helps you to take 

     instagramable pictures look even cooler without editing. Otherwise, inside seating 

     area was not too big, but once you enter, it feels like home, decorated with 

     plants, dimmed light, wood furnitures, and there are some books to read. 

     If only during my visit, it was not that packed. I could sit there for longer 

     time. Yet, no space for me to sit, and enjoy my coffee. Even the restaurant that 

     adjoining with them, is full house, I think they got some events, during my visit. 

     So ya, what could be better than take away cup for the way out. 

     Ordered my Ice Americano to go, because it was so damn hot weather. I could  

     melt right away. Drinks price range is IDR25.000 to IDR45.000.

     They served some pastries if you would like to pair up your coffee with 

     something to bite. Or else, you can order something from SNCTRY Health Bar. 

     Overall the coffee was not so astounding, but it was decent and satisfying. 

     I love their glassware too, if only I can have dine in. They use some kind of    

     ceramic cup, which is going to add on the warmth feeling and homey feeling.

     Find somewhere cozy place to sit and enjoy coffee, here is one of them.

The Brewing Lab at Kemang

Brewing Room aka Ruang Seduh, ini terletak di belakang Toko Buku Aksara, Kemang. Kalau boleh jujur, pas Waze jalan kesini, di bilang nya uda Reach your Destination. Tapi kok ga lihat ada tulisan Ruang Seduh nya. Jadi mutar jalan sekali lagi. Terus karna bingung gitu, dan gak ada orang yang bisa di tanya. Coba-coba aja masuk ke lokasi yang di bilang sama Waze. Bahkan sampai ke parkiran pun masih bingung, dimana itu tempat kopi. Untung nya ada yang parkirin, jadi bisa tanya juga sama si Bapak. Terus uda di kasih tau di mana nya. Pas tau, oh ini tempatnya! kata yang terungkap tuh cuma "ni super antik dan unik!" Lain daripada yang lain #lebaidikit. Tapi asli, ini lain daripada tempat-tempat kopi yang pernah saya datangin. Hayo! Penasaran kan??? 

Jadi saya berkunjung kesini karena ingin mendapatkan satu buah cap untuk Jakarta Manual Book pas akhir 2016 kemarin.

Okay, memang mungkin ini sedikit terlambat blogpost nya. Tapi baru sempat untuk share soal tempat ini. Jadi mohon maaf dan maklumin saya ini ya, readers.

Denger-denger sih, mereka terkenal sama Manual Brew nya. Cuma sayangnya pas saya kesana, saya gak mencoba itu. Saya pesan Hot Latte aja. IDR35k. Karena hari itu udah minum beberapa kopi lainnya. Jadi gak pingin minum black coffee lagi.

Mereka juga menjual beberapa pilihan Snacks untuk kalian enjoy dengan Coffee nya. Mereka gak punya Minuman Ice. Tapi mereka menjual Cold Drop. Itu kaya Kopi baik Black maupun White ada, Kopi nya itu uda di botolin dan di Chilled gitu. Mereka juga punya Cold Pressed Juice dari Judas. Jadi dont worry kalau emang datang kesana dengan orang yang gak mau minum kopi, masih ada jus, dan ada pastry kok.

Tempat duduk mereka sebenarnya sedikit dan kecil, tapi di dalam ruangan yang sama ada namanya Kinosaurus. Namanya unik kan? Iya, tempatnya juga unik. Kinosaurus ini adalah cinema kecil di mana mereka sering menyetel film-film bagus, film-film nasional maupun internasional. Ada jadwal-jadwalnya gitu, mungkin bisa di Google untuk info lebih lanjutnya. Dengan tempat-tempat duduk di Kinosaurus itu, nah kita jadi bisa duduk di situ juga. Banyak tempat menarik untuk di foto di tempat ini.

Price range, tidak terlalu mahal. Ambience, cukup enak. Pilihan menu, oke, meskipun tidak terlalu banyak. Bisa di lihat dari foto-fotonya juga untuk punya gambaran kaya gimana sebenarnya.

From North to South Jakarta - DJULE KOFI

"coffee doesn't ask silly questions,

coffee understands." 

another review of one of coffee shops in Jakarta, to be exact, located in South Jakarta. Jakarta is getting more and more of coffee shops. It's a good thing for the coffee lovers, like me, I can find coffee wherever I need it one. yeah, maybe i love coffee a little bit too much, right?

so the story begins with Ombe Kofie, if you have ever heard about them, the owner of Ombe Kofie, open new coffee shop in South Jakarta. Ombe Kofie was very well known around North Jakarta, it was one of the coffee shop's pioneer around North Jakarta. I love their coffee a lot, the taste of the coffee was just perfect. Previously, I often to take away their coffee. And now they have brought their coffee to South. Glad that finally I can visit Djule. Because actually I really seldom to go to South area, for me, it is soooooo far. Okay maybe it is not that far, but because, you know, the super jam in Jakarta, that makes me feel so far from my house. I was lucky because during my visit, the traffic not so bad, so I can reach there quite fast. 

I came here and bought Macchiato only, because after that I will go for another coffee shops, I might get drunk by coffee if I drink too much shots of espresso. Macchiato was just right  for me. Like expected, I love their ambience too. Not too busy, not too noisy, I can enjoy my coffee right near the big window, enjoying the view of car pass through, people walking, selling, etc.

Still, I still love their taste of coffee too. The service was great, even i take a long time to think what to order, ask some suggestions, and the staff still patiently waiting for me without being pushy. 

I still recommend the coffee lover to try Djule Kofi. Get the different experience from Ombe Kofie. But the same standard of coffee, and service. 

If you don't know where to park, because as far as I can remember, there is no car parking in front of the coffee shop, I don't know whether It is not allowed or it is just the time where no one park in front of it. But I park at the building next to it, the building that got KFC. Just walk for 3 mins. Not far. Walk a bit still okay. :D

morning without coffee is like...... sleep

Hello Friday! The day that everyone always waiting for. It's weekend, again. So be happy.

Anyway, I went to Bandung, West Java, Indonesia from Wednesday night. It's a random trip and unexpected. But glad to be here.
First night I stayed in Pasteur area, the closest from highway's exit since I reached at midnight. The next day I moved to Setiabudi area. I did not visit a lot of places since the purpose is to relax and enjoy.

This place is famous with the name of Lawang Wangi Creative Space. They have Art Gallery, Design Space and Cafe. Located in Dago area. The scenery was superb! (you can see the photos below). The weather also nice. I am sure a lot of youngster knew about this place. And to find the location is not hard, just 'waze' it. It will direct you to the place right away. The road to this place is gonna be quite small. But just drive carefully should be okay.

We ordered a plate of Nachos, Hot Latte, Lawangwangi Traditional Drink, and a cup of Hot Black Coffee. Total Bill was IDR128k. You can see all the foods and drinks in the photos below.
I think the price was cheaper that other cafe that happening nowadays. You can enjoy the view from this cafe too. And they really famous with the bridge. Romantic bridge. But doesnt mean it will be better if you go here with your spouse only, it is a No. It will be nice with family, or friends as well. Take a picture in the bridge altogether will be good too.

Well, it will be end here. Not much to say, photos will say it all.

FRISSON COFFEE BAR

Uptown Damansara has been developed quite a lot. More foods and cafes to hang out. Lots of new places come up at the same time. Until i feel confuse which one to go first.

After take one big round at that day, to hang out. I decided to go for Frisson Coffee Bar. From some posts that i have seen, this place is interesting, appealing and attractive. from the name itself, their coffee and desserts, and also the place.

It was not hard at all to find this cafe, because you can see from the big road. Same row with Softsrve, Good Batch etc. I think you will be familiar with those places.

And since we went there on weekday, so it was not hard to find a table. I came to visit not for their set lunch though. Purposely came and tried their coffee, and desserts. Friendly waiters and waitresses made me and my friends feel welcomed.

I liked most of their ideas on decorating the cafe.

Simple thing can be so meaningful.

Ice Peppermint Chocolate

A shot of espresso since i asked for my latte only for one shot, so they gave me another shot in case i would like to have more coffee.

One of the waffle's desserts:

Waffle + One scoop of ice cream + 2 Toppings

we chose Oreo Crumb and Marshmallow

RM14.90

Overall, the drinks was good. But the waffles not really. First, maybe because we chose the 'dry' toppings that made it not taste as delicious as the expectation. Second, the waffle really thin and not crunchy.

OWLS CAFE

it has been a while i did not update anything.

this time i will write something about this cafe named OWLS cafe. Actually i went there when i was still in Malaysia. Those last days before i went for good.

I have been heard of this cafe which really popular with their waffles so many times. And luckily i have got a chance to try their waffles before i went back for good.

Went there with some friends, we ordered two waffles at one time. Cause we were so craving with their waffles. One of my friend has tried it before, and she really missed the waffles.

She said, the waffles very very nice. During the visitation, it's quite full inside. Means that they are famous, isn't it. So many people come.

I have to say that their waffles really worth to try. The portion quite big, the taste very nice, especially the earl grey ice cream and their macaroons! Never regret, and definitely miss their waffles. Price is affordable to your pocket. haha.

Lighting is good and help you to get good photos, and there are lots of mini owls to be props that help your photos look better.
