But First ... Coffee

procaffeinating (N)
the tendency to not start anything until you have a cup of coffee.

Like that quote saying, indeed, i need coffee before start everything. Coffee to start my engine. LOL. No, I am kidding. I am used to be like that. Everyday I need a cup of coffee. But not anymore due to serious gastric. Oh well, pity me. (Okay, it is not the point of my blog) I just wanna share my story.
I heard this coffee shop quite some time. But again, I never had a chance to visit them before. Feels like the distance is so far from my house. Though it is not that far actually. But the traffic jam in Jakarta make it so so far away.  I went to this coffee shop at the same day as I visit Ruang Seduh. Because their location is just within 10-15mins drive. So why i wasted more time if i need to come the other day, while I have already near the area.
Another concept of coffee shop around South Jakarta, it's a cozy, warm, and
quiet place to chill. The outside seating area is furnished with old vintage chairs
and tables, with the perfect natural lighting that helps you to take
instagramable pictures look even cooler without editing. Otherwise, inside seating
area was not too big, but once you enter, it feels like home, decorated with
plants, dimmed light, wood furnitures, and there are some books to read.

If only during my visit, it was not that packed. I could sit there for longer
time. Yet, no space for me to sit, and enjoy my coffee. Even the restaurant that
adjoining with them, is full house, I think they got some events, during my visit.
So ya, what could be better than take away cup for the way out.

Ordered my Ice Americano to go, because it was so damn hot weather. I could
melt right away. Drinks price range is IDR25.000 to IDR45.000.
They served some pastries if you would like to pair up your coffee with
something to bite. Or else, you can order something from SNCTRY Health Bar.

Overall the coffee was not so astounding, but it was decent and satisfying.

I love their glassware too, if only I can have dine in. They use some kind of
ceramic cup, which is going to add on the warmth feeling and homey feeling.

Find somewhere cozy place to sit and enjoy coffee, here is one of them.

TeddyBar

Hello semuanya! Selamat hari minggu! Gimana weekend nya nih? Enjoy gak nih? Besok udah senin lagi aja ya, cepet banget ya. Ayo semangat, kita harus enjoy hari apapun itu :)
Jadi kemarin malem, Sabtu malem gitu saya janjian mau ketemu teman- teman SMA.
Jadi yaudah, sekalian mampir gitu.
Cute gitu menu-menunya. Semua berhubungan dengan Bear gitu. (Ya iyalah, namanya juga TeddyBar). Hampir semua menu itu Instagramable gituh. Kita ada order:
1. Fettucine Alfredo with Chicken Katsu
2. Taro and Cookies
3. Orange Squash
4. Hot Mocchacino
5. Ice Caramel Machiato
6. Oreo Milkshake
Harganya terjangkau.
Pilihan Menu lumayan banyak.
Taste juga oke.
Ada wi-fi.
Pelayanan nya juga oke.
Buat cewe-cewe, pasti kalian demen banget ada boneka Bear yang gede-gede gitu, buat kalian ajak foto-foto.

A Short Visit to Shen Zhen 深圳

Travel is like knowledge. The more you see, the more you know you haven't seen. - Mark Hertsguard
An hour of ferry trip, take us from Macau to Shenzhen.
It's better trip rather than former ferry trip. Maybe, the waves wasn't too big.
Oh well, after all we reached Shenzhen around evening, drop the luggage at the hotel, and we just end of night by strolling around the Luo Hu Commercial City, where cheap stuffs are sold. A 10-mins walk from our hotel.

We stay in this hotel..

Century Plaza Hotel
Address: 4001, Chunfeng Rd, RenMin NanLu,
Luohu QU, Shenzhen Shi, Guangdong Sheng,
China 518000

Phone: +86 755 8232 0888

One thing you should know before you go to Shenzhen, Shenzhen needs another visa, different with HongKong and Macau, it is not a visa on arrival thing, so make sure you prepare your China visa, before you go. And they are very strict about it.

The very next day, we went to one jewerly place, I am sorry I cannot remember the name. And also a medicine house, sort of. Besides those two, we went to the tourist attractions, which were Windows of the World 世界之窗 and Splendid Chin锦绣中华民俗村

1. Windows of the World

it is a theme park located in Shenzhen City, featuring more than 100 miniatures of the world's famous iconic landmark. Some miniatures are small, I mean smaller than us when we take picture with the building. But some are big enough, like Eiffel Tower, you even can go up to certain level, using elevator or stairs. It is just not as tall and as big as the real one. But it is one of the iconic landmark that is bigger than the others. We rent a small car (I called it car, though) fit all of us, around 18-20 pax + 1 driver, so that we do not waste our time to walk all the way around the park. We got not enough time for it. If you got more time, it is nicer to walk around, and take lots of pictures. And the car that we rent inside there, got explanation as we go around the theme park.

After finish one round, we are allowed to go ourselves around, for 30mins like that, there is a musical show below the Eiffel Tower, I am not sure there is some similar show every period of time, or it is once in a day thing. You can ask for more information about it to the information counter if you would like to see.
This theme park brings you see the whole world is all about, the beautiful Amsterdam, Italy, England, Asia, and more.

2. Splendid China

it is also a theme park which are separated into two areas, Splendid China Miniature Park and China Folk Culture Village. This park describes the history of China, culture and art of China, Customs and Habits of various nationalities, and more. It is known as one of the largest parks in the world. There are more than 100 miniatures of attractions according to the map of China. They provide cars and trains for visitors to see around the theme park. This park brings you to see more about China. You can see Great Wall of China, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Potala Palace, and many more in a day. Besides all the miniatures, they also have few shows to visit, like shows about Chinese History, Cultural Shows, and some others. You can take a brochure around the corner to check the location and timetable of the shows.

It was fun trip in ShenZhen, see whole world in just one day. the Cultural shows were both incredibly good and worth to see too.

The next day we do not have any places to visit, so I decided to walk from the hotel, walk all the way almost at the end of the street, just to enjoy the city of Shen Zhen, buy some snacks like Pao, Red Bean Porridge, and Milk Tea from 一點點. I used to drink this Nai Cha during my study in Shanghai. :D. And those snacks that I bought around the corner of the street, it's all so cheap, you should enjoy the street foods from Shen Zhen while you can.
Before we going back to Hong Kong, me and parents ate dim sum in small restaurant nearby the hotel. And it's all nice!

Hello Thursday!
Time really flies so fast. Almost weekend, again.. I know everyone cant wait for the weekend. For those who working, just hang on, eventhough you are tired, just wait for a little while. And you can rest more during weekend.

Okay, that's it for intro. XD This post I am gonna write about one coffee shop. In Serpong area (again), due to, on Wednesday 26/7/16, means yesterday, I accompanied my friend to Alam Sutra. And because She done with the task earlier, and we had a plan for dinner with family in restaurant nearby, so we decided to just find a cafe and do some our own paper works. After scrolling down the Internet, and we found out the Tobi's Coffee and Tea. One friend recommend this to us before. So went there and gave them a visit to try.

The moment we enter, cafe was cozy, and really quiet. No other customer, except us. Btw, it's good since we can focus on doing the work. Like 15mins after that, some customers come and go.

My friend ordered tea - Pineapple Paradise Ice Tea 35k
I ordered - Hot Cappucino 35k

Overall of my experience here:
Ambience: 4/5 - my friend agree, that this cafe is nice for hang out and do assignments.
Service: 4.5/5 - staff was helpful and have a good product knowledge, and serving quite fast
Drinks: 4/5 - coffee was good
Interior Design: 4/5
Price: 30-45k per person (drinks only)
Wifi: provided (ask for the password)

I am quite happy that we can have an unexpected coffee time at new cafe we never tried before.

I saw their cakes seems so delicious, but unfortunately I cant have it yesterday.
So if you have a visit and try their foods, feel free to share with me which one is nice. :)

OWLS CAFE

it has been a while i did not update anything.

this time i will write something about this cafe named OWLS cafe. Actually i went there when i was still in Malaysia. Those last days before i went for good.

I have been heard of this cafe which really popular with their waffles so many times. And luckily i have got a chance to try their waffles before i went back for good.

Went there with some friends, we ordered two waffles at one time. Cause we were so craving with their waffles. One of my friend has tried it before, and she really missed the waffles.

She said, the waffles very very nice. During the visitation, it's quite full inside. Means that they are famous, isn't it. So many people come.

I have to say that their waffles really worth to try. The portion quite big, the taste very nice, especially the earl grey ice cream and their macaroons! Never regret, and definitely miss their waffles. Price is affordable to your pocket. haha.

Lighting is good and help you to get good photos, and there are lots of mini owls to be props that help your photos look better.

Looks tempting?

Go get a try!
Share with me your experience.

Have nice weekend peeps!
